Agreement and who can use Pero

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Oleh Chausov, an individual developer in Kharkiv, Ukraine, who makes and runs Pero ("we", "us"). They apply when you download or use the Pero app.

You must be 13 or older to use Pero. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use Pero and to buy a subscription.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data Pero sends, to whom, and how to delete it.

Apple's licence agreement

Pero is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms are additional terms that sit alongside the Standard EULA. They don't replace or change it. If something in these Terms conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA wins.

What Pero does

Pero turns what you say or type into a plan for your day. It uses AI from other companies to do this (see "AI processing" in the Privacy Policy).

AI can make mistakes. It can mishear a word, miss a task, or put a task on the wrong day or time. Check your plan before you rely on it, especially for important dates and deadlines. Reminders depend on your iPhone's notification settings.

Pero is a planning tool. It doesn't give medical, legal, financial or any other professional advice.

Brain dumps need an internet connection. Your tasks, reminders and plan work without one.

Free and Pro

Free. You get a limited number of AI brain dumps per day, voice or text, as shown in the app. A dump counts only if Pero sorted it and you kept it: if you tap "Undo dump" on the result card, it goes back to your limit. Everything else is free for everyone — adding tasks by hand, reminders, repeats, carry-over, the morning plan and your thoughts.

Pero Pro. Pro gives you unlimited brain dumps — voice or text, any time of day. To protect Pero from scripts and abuse, every account, with or without Pro, has a technical limit on how many dumps it can send per minute and per day. Above that limit, a dump fails with an error and doesn't count.

Subscriptions

Plans. Pero Pro is an auto-renewing subscription with two plans:

• Yearly — $59.99 per year. It comes with a 7-day free trial if you can get one.
• Weekly — $5.99 per week. No free trial.

These are US prices. In other countries, you pay the local price shown in the App Store. The paywall shows the price, the period and the renewal terms before you buy.

Billing. Apple bills your Apple Account. We don't see or process your payment details.

Free trial. The 7-day free trial is for the Yearly plan, once per Apple Account. You can't get it if you have already had a trial or a subscription to Pero on that Apple Account. When the trial ends, it turns into a paid Yearly subscription and you are charged the yearly price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The paywall shows the date you will be charged. If notifications are on, Pero reminds you 2 days before that date.

Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each year or each week), until you cancel. It renews at the same price unless the price changes (see below). Apple charges your Apple Account within 24 hours before the end of the current period. There is no minimum term: you can cancel at any time.

How to cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge:

• in Pero: Settings → Manage subscription (shown when you have Pro); or
• on your iPhone: Settings → your name (Apple Account) → Subscriptions → Pero; or
• online: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

After you cancel a paid subscription, Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting Pero, or using Delete all data, does not cancel your subscription.

Switching plans. You can switch between Yearly and Weekly in your Apple subscription settings. Apple applies the switch: a move to a higher level starts right away, and a move to a lower level starts at the end of the current period.

Notices about renewals and price changes. Apple, not Pero, sends notices about renewals and price changes. If the price goes up, Apple tells you before the change and, where the law requires, asks you to agree. If you don't agree, the subscription doesn't renew.

Refunds. Apple handles all refunds; we can't give refunds ourselves. To ask for one, follow Apple's refund steps. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

Restore. Pro belongs to the Apple Account that bought it. On a new iPhone, or after reinstalling Pero, tap Restore purchases on the paywall or in Settings. Pro then moves to that iPhone.

Support. We give support for Pero (see Support). Apple handles billing.

Your content

What you say, type and plan in Pero is yours. You give us permission to use it only to run Pero: to send your dumps to our AI providers and return your sorted plan. We don't keep your dumps, and your tasks stay on your iPhone (see the Privacy Policy).

You are responsible for what you record. Don't record other people without them knowing.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use scripts, bots or other automated ways to send dumps or requests;
• try to get around the free limit, the request checks or other protections;
• attack, overload or try to break into our server;
• use Pero to break the law or to harm other people;
• record other people without them knowing.

Changes, availability and ending

We may change Pero, add features or remove them. Pero may sometimes be unavailable — for example, brain dumps don't work without internet, or when our AI providers are down.

You can stop using Pero at any time. To remove your data, use Settings → Delete all data; to stop payments, cancel your subscription (see "How to cancel"). If you stop using Pero, your account is deleted automatically 14 months after your last use (or the end of your subscription, whichever is later); your tasks on your iPhone stay. The Standard EULA explains when the licence ends.

Warranty and liability

The Standard EULA (sections "No Warranty" and "Limitation of Liability") sets out how Pero is provided and the limits on our liability. These Terms don't add other limits.

Nothing in these Terms or in the Standard EULA takes away rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be excluded or limited. In particular:

• Australia: nothing excludes, restricts or changes the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or any other right that can't be excluded.
• Canada, including Quebec: nothing limits your rights under the consumer protection laws of your province.
• United States: some states don't allow some warranty exclusions or limits on liability, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. This doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country, province or state where you live. You can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Nothing in these Terms makes you use arbitration or stops you from joining a class action where your local law allows it. The Standard EULA names its own governing law.

If you have a problem with Pero, please email us first — we'll try to fix it.

Changes to these Terms

When we change these Terms, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Changes apply from that date, not to anything before it. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using Pero and cancel your subscription.
